  1. Great OLY Shoes

Posted by on 19th Jul 2017

Huge upgrade to my Crossfit lifter 2.0's. Much more rigid platform in the bottom of the shoe. Higher heel height. Less flexible. Styles are great as well. Would Highly Recommend.

  2. Great Fit, Poor Quality

Posted by on 28th Jun 2017

I ordered these just to squat in. The fit is awesome. They are true to size. I have a pretty narrow foot, and even with the laces and straps cranked down, there is plenty of strap still left and not dragging on the floor. The stability of this shoe is unreal, they feel like they could never roll or even slip. The only real drawback that I've had wearing them is that they are on the heavier side, and are awkward to walk in, but seeing as I bought them to just squat in, they are perfect for the platform.

My only real peeves are with the build quality. My pair have non-centered panels, differing panel sizes from one shoe to the other, sloppy glue seams on the hard plastic to the rubber sole; but probably the worst defect is the fact that the sole rubber on my right shoe is offset by about an 1/8th of an inch at the heel. The inside heel is missing it, and the outside heel has too much of it. Hopefully this means nothing in the long run.

  4. Love these shoes

These shoes are awesome. They are a durable shoe and the colors are very bold. They are great for lifting, my feet don't shift, and strap in place nice and tight!! Highly Recommend!

  7. Awesome

Posted by on 28th Apr 2017

These were an upgrade for me from the Reebok crossfit lifters. These have so much more lift in the heel and a more solid show all around with more support especially in the arches. Mine are pretty high and cramp but not in these babies!

  8. Solid shoe

The best lifter I have owned hands down. Very stable and solid construction

  9. Much more stable!

Posted by on 26th Sep 2016

These are my first pair of Romaleos, and right off the bat, they're so much more rigid and stable than my last Inov-8 lifters. The Inov-8s felt more flexible, something a crossfitter would like. These Nike lifters are great quality and the color is awesome. I literally searched everywhere for these and am glad I didn't stop. I'm still getting used to wearing them, and am loving the choice of the two inclosed insoles.

  10. Coming from AdiPower with wide feet

Posted by on 12th Sep 2016

I switched to these from the first (orange with the bottom pair of eyelets still) generation adipowers since I've pretty much worn the rubber out of the soles where it matters. While the toe box of my adipowers broke in, they were pretty narrow for my wide feet to begin with. The Romaleos 2 toe box fit me really well off the bat (I'm an E width) and I prefer the competition insoles. Not sure if the heel drop is deeper or not, but it surely feels like it in a good way. Light, but feel stable for all lifts - no give at all in regards to torsion so I can rotate my hip capsule as much as possible without feeling like I'm sacrificing any stability or blow my foot out the side.

Regular shoe size: 9-10 Wide (E) depending on the shoe
    AdiPower - size 9
    Romaleos 2 - size 9

I found the length of the romaleos to be more true to size, and the width to be perfect for me.
